808 State at Victoria Baths Manchester

Post by georganaut »

I am looking to conduct radio interviews for ALL FM Manchester with anyone who was present at the gig that 808 State did at the Victoria Baths sometime in very late 80s or early 90s.

Of course, if anyone has the ear of the guys in 808 State, I would dearly love to talk to them in this regard too!

Please contact me on georganaut@hotmail.com.

Look forward to hearing from ... Georgina :D

I don't know if you are aware, but you can edit your first posting, if you like.

In regards to your conquest, I'm sure Graham Massey will be happy to help. And maybe Gerald Simpson too.

Superb... thanks for that, I have edited the above.

If either Graham Massey or Gerald Simpson would be willing to talk to me if would be fantastic... Perhaps you could pass on my details if you are in contact?

Thanks Georgina :D

Thanks folks, that's really good of you, I will let you know if anything comes of it.

Just some background on the show, Victoria Baths Trust (winners of the BBC restoration program) have commissioned a 6 month series from ALL fm to promote the restoration of the Baths for the future use for the people of Manchester. This is a charitable organisation which is working towards saving a piece of Manchester's history from destruction. In this context we are exploring both the history of the Baths and the potential future use of them in close connection with the regeneration of Longsight and surrounding areas.

Cheers... Georgina :D

Hi Graham,

That's sounds like a corker, ideal for our show. I'm not sure if you have received my replies via 'private messages' to your message re: meeting up for an interview, not sure how reliable a form of communication these forums are... :-?

Anyway, my contact number is 07834 609575, look forward to hearing from you.
